Bible: Meeting the Needs of Overseas Chinese

The Bible meets the needs of Chinese all over the world. We are dedicated to serving Chinese churches and distribute the Bible to Chinese. No matter where they live, and whether they are born locally, immigrants or studying abroad, we hope that our ministry can meet their needs for the Bible. May God’s word bless Chinese in every corner of the world.

  • New Zealand Tour

From end of July to early August 2015, Hong Kong Bible Society visited Auckland of New Zealand to promote the Revised Chinese Union Version (RCUV). In church meetings and theology seminars, we shared the RCUV with various Chinese communities, including people from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, mainland China, Taiwan, as well as the next generation of Chinese immigrating there. This was indeed a precious opportunity.

  • Australia Tour

From 20 February to 2 March 2015, we co-organized Bible seminars with Bible Society Australia and promoted the RCUV to Chinese churches there together with Rev Lo Lung-kwong. Relating to issues in Hong Kong, Rev Lo shared the message titled “the identity of people in the kingdom of heaven.” Whether we are enjoying freedom, we have to know clearly God’s mind and everything is already stated in the Bible.

  • Malaysia Tour

In June 2014, we cooperated with Bible Society of Malaysia to promote the Bible in Chinese churches there. In the eight-day tour, we visited Ipoh Chinese Methodist Church, Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary, Sabah Theological Seminary, and Subang Jaya Methodist Church together with Rev Li Ping-kwong. We met church leaders and pastors in Sabah and Kuala Lumpur and hosted Bible sharing meetings there.
